**Vertex Top End Piston Kit** The Vertex Top End Piston Kit is designed for durability and performance, making it an ideal OE replacement. The cast pistons are made from gravity-cast aluminum alloy with 18% silicone content, resulting in a lightweight yet strong design. All pistons undergo a T-5 heat treatment process for added strength and wear resistance. The piston skirt is coated with a high-tech Molybdenum Disulfide coating, which reduces friction, shortens break-in time, and extends piston life. Forged pistons, made from 2618 aluminum, offer superior strength and durability, while high-compression forged pistons enhance power and torque across the entire RPM range. The top-end kit includes a piston, rings, pins, circlips, top-end gaskets, and a wrist pin bearing where applicable. All piston rings are OEM replacements. Some kits may also include a cam chain.
