The Vertex Piston Kit is designed for durability and performance. Two-stroke piston kits are gravity-cast from aluminum alloy with 18% silicone content, making them lightweight yet strong. Four-stroke pistons are forged from 2618 aluminum for enhanced strength and longevity. High-compression and big-bore four-stroke pistons offer increased power, torque, and displacement. All pistons undergo a T-5 heat treatment process for hardening and tempering. The piston skirts are coated with molybdenum disulfide (MoS2) to reduce friction, improve break-in time, and extend lifespan. Standard pistons and rings serve as OEM replacements. Each kit includes a piston, rings, wrist pin, and circlips. Two-stroke replacement rings are sold individually, while four-stroke rings come as a set.
