The Vertex Piston Kit is designed for high performance and durability in two-stroke and four-stroke engines. The two-stroke pistons are gravity-cast from an aluminum alloy with 18% silicone content, making them lightweight yet strong. The four-stroke pistons are forged from 2618 aluminum for enhanced strength and durability. All Vertex pistons undergo a T-5 hardening and tempering process and feature a molybdenum disulphide (MoS2) coated skirt for reduced friction, faster break-in, and extended lifespan. The kits include a piston, rings, wrist pin, and circlips. Vertex offers various piston types, including cast OE replicas, GP-style race pistons with a single compression ring, high-compression forged pistons for increased power and torque, and big-bore forged pistons for greater displacement and peak horsepower.
