Description
The RockyMounts Backstage Swing Away Hitch Bike Rack is the industry’s first 180° swing-away platform hitch rack, designed for easy access to the rear of your vehicle without removing your bikes. Built to carry two bikes up to 60 lb each, it secures bicycles by the front wheel to avoid frame contact, accommodating tire widths from road sizes up to 5.0" fat bike tires and wheel diameters from 20" to 29". This rack is compatible with wheelbases between 34" and 49". It folds flat against the vehicle when not in use and tilts down 30° for hatch access. Features a premium 3-axis anti-wobble system and durable metal components that are EPD treated before powder coating for superior weather and dirt resistance. Includes a locking hitch pin and cable lock, keyed alike for convenience. Designed exclusively for 2" hitches.
Note: Not compatible with bicycles equipped with fenders; cannot be expanded for more bikes. Cargo vans may require an 8" hitch extension for proper clearance. For fitment questions, contact ride@rockymounts.com.
