The Vertex High Compression Forged Piston Kit is designed to enhance engine performance by increasing power and torque across the entire RPM range. Made from durable 2618 aluminum, these forged pistons offer superior strength and durability. They undergo a T-5 heat treatment process for added resilience and feature a Molybdenum Disulphide-coated skirt to reduce friction, improve break-in time, and extend piston life. Each kit includes a piston, rings, wrist pin, and circlips. While two-stroke pistons are gravity cast with an 18% silicone content for a lightweight yet strong design, four-stroke pistons are forged for maximum durability. High-compression pistons optimize engine efficiency, while big bore options further increase displacement, torque, and peak horsepower. Designed as OEM replacements, Vertex pistons provide a reliable upgrade for enhanced engine performance.
