The Kibblewhite Manganese Bronze Valve Guide is a precision-machined component designed for builders seeking a cost-effective solution. Made from C630 manganese bronze, these guides are compatible with unleaded fuel and work with various valve stem materials. They are optimized for use with chromed valve stems, featuring a tapered nose design that enhances flow characteristics while minimizing port obstruction. These guides have an overall length of 2.40 inches, with a top diameter of 0.560 inches, and they accept OEM-style top hat valve seals (sold separately) as well as OEM lower collars. They are machined for a standard 0.420-inch seal and can be used for both intake and exhaust applications. Compared to premium C630 Nickel Aluminum Bronze guides, these manganese bronze guides offer slightly reduced toughness and wear resistance but are significantly easier to machine. They can be reamed and honed using a simple battery-operated or electric drill, eliminating the need for expensive honing equipment typically required for nickel bronze guides.
