The Daytona Twin Tec VT-i Dual-Fire Electronic Ignition System delivers precise and reliable ignition control for Harley-Davidson® models using a traditional mechanical advance mechanism. This fully encapsulated unit includes a special trigger rotor, a precise digitally adjustable RPM limiter in 200 RPM steps from 5200 to 7000 RPM, and a status LED for easy static timing. Advanced electronic dwell control maximizes ignition energy at high RPM while reducing current draw at low RPM. Fully compatible with most OE and aftermarket dual-fire ignition coils, it uses a hall effect sensor to detect rotor teeth for stable spark timing. Operating down to below 6 volts, it provides easy two-wire hookup, waterproof protection, resistance to vibration and shock, and over-temperature protection up to 260°F (125°C). Not for fuel-injected models. Ideal for a wide range of Harley-Davidson fitments from 1971 and up.
