It features a center or shim layer of uncoated stainless steel, which can be adjusted for varying thickness requirements. The outer layers are embossed and coated with Viton on both sides to ensure durability and performance in demanding sealing environments, load conditions, and surface finishes. Utilizing Load Control Embossments (LCE), this MLS gasket promotes even torque distribution across the sealing surface, reducing bore distortion and improving piston ring seal for enhanced engine performance.
